Jay Valko: Another BJJ Black Belt in Chicago!

The team at Titan Combat would like to congratulate Jay Valko for becoming Chicago's most recent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt.  Jay was awarded his black belt by Eduardo de Lima on Saturday, June 14th, at Eduardo’s Gracie Barra school in Tampa, FL.  Jay began training under Eduardo in February of 2000.  We are looking forward to seeing his team compete and his school grow.  Check out his website at ValkoBJJ.com.

New Official Partner: Ironheart Crown

Titan Combat is now the official partner of the Ironheart Crown MMA promotion. The two organizations will be working together to promote and improve the Chicagoland combat sports landscape. Now both organizations will commit their resources toward creating great MMA & grappling events in which local and international athletes can compete.

New Breed Chicago are TitanGO I Champions

Hundreds of grapplers from Chicago and the surrounding area showed up yesterday for the Titan Grappling Open tournament, and when the results were tallied, New Breed Academy took team Championship by a wide margin. Second place was claimed by the very skilled Uflacker Academy, placing very high despite this being only their first tournament. In a close third was perennial powerhouse Gracie Barra Chicago.
